Hello?…Oh, hey! How’s it going?…That’s good…Oh, really? Hahaha, that’s crazy!…Uh-huh…uh-huh….oh, that’s right! I forgot to tell you!
So, there’s some news in the world of Attack Mimes. After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to stop posting new pages online. This doesn’t mean that we’ve stopped work on the project. It actually means we’ve sped up work on the project.
We’re pushing for completion of the entire book by early next year and, frankly, keeping up with the website has become a hindrance. We started this site not because we wanted Attack Mimes to be a webcomic, but rather as a way to keep up motivation. For that, it served its purpose. But there’s a downside. Attack Mimes really should be read as a whole. The arc is long and it just doesn’t work as a once-a-week reader. Simply put, we feel we’re not doing the story justice by letting it be seen before it’s complete. And we’re all about justice!
So, what to do with the site? We’ll keep it up. I’ll update the blog from time to time (when the mood hits me) and let you know how progress is going. I’m sure we’ll throw in a sneak peek here and there, too. And when absolutely everything is done, we’ll post the work up here and let you see this crazy story, at last, from start to finish. As it should be seen.
We appreciate all of you who have been coming to the site and hope you don’t feel dissed. You’ve been a great inspiration for us and we truly are grateful. We aim to reward your patronage with a completed product soon. We hope the webcomic folks don’t feel dissed, either. We love webcomics, Jason even has his own. (Just want to make sure no one feels dissed lest a rap battle ensue…)
Thanks for hanging with us. Check back every now and then for updates. Attack Mimes 2011!
